While many parents are now becoming homeschool teachers unexpectedly due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Spin Master is here to help make that transition a little bit easier.
Spin Master launched Sago Mini School, a curiosity-led learning app for kids ages 3-5. From the creators of Sago Mini World, games that promote creativity and self-expression, Sago Mini School provides parents with a curriculum designed with child development and educational experts and teaches kids early literacy, math, spatial skills, and science through the power of play.
There are more than 50 learning activities, each built to spark curiosity and keep kids engaged — whether they are learning new vocabulary by exploring a creepy crawly playset in Bugs, learning new shapes as they help out on the construction site in Big Trucks, or practicing counting with colorful bubbles in Rainbows. New topics will be added regularly for subscribers.
Parents can follow their child’s progress with the Parents app that provides digital updates, videos, and photos of kids’ learning creations, sent directly to their device. The Sago Mini School app is available for download now on the App Store with a seven-day free trial offer.
Earlier this year, Sago Mini launched Sago Mini Box, a monthly make-and-play subscription that brings quality, creative play right to consumers’ doors. Each box is packed with skills such as empathy, creative problem-solving, and emotional intelligence through play. Sago Mini Box is designed to be played with over and over again — and then recycled when you’re done with zero-waste packaging and FSC-certified and recycled materials used where possible.
