The LEGO Group has released new details on its upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog and Santa’s Post Office Sets. The Sonic-themed sets will be available in January, while the LEGO Icons Santa’s Post Office set will launch next month.
The LEGO Icons Santa’s Post Office set is 1,440 pieces and is designed for builders ages 18 and up. The set includes a postal sorting area, an entrance hall with a coffee machine, a second-floor writing area with a letter chute, and a log fire. It also features a hot-air balloon with a light-up burner, an ice-fishing scene, a 2-way letter sorter, a Christmas tree, a mailbox, a signpost, self, and minifigures of Santa and four elves. Families can send letters down the chute to the sorter and use the lever to deliver them to different sorting carts.
The new post office set will be available for LEGO Insiders on Oct. 1 and available for all builders on Oct. 4 at lego.com and at LEGO stores.
Following The LEGO Group’s August launch of the 590-piece LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog: Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster — which showcases Dr. Eggman, Super Sonic, and Shadow figures — the company has provided more information on the upcoming sets LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic’s Campfire Clash and LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Super Shadow vs. Biolizard.
Kids ages 7 and up can build LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic’s Campfire Clash with 177 pieces. Builders can place the Sonic LEGO figure around the campfire, then rescue Tocky by launching the figure through the speed sphere at enemy robots G.U.N. Beetle and G.U.N. Hunter. LEGO Sonic can even collect the included LEGO Gold Rings.

The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Super Shadow vs. Biolizard set includes 419 pieces. Designed for builders ages 9 and up, the set includes LEGO Super Sonic and Super Shadow figures. Kids can battle Biolizard to defend the Space Colony ARK and retrieve the Chaos Emerald.
