Spielwarenmesse is right around the corner, readying for a full schedule of events, exhibitors from around the world, and more. The fair will welcome industry insiders and the press to Nuremberg from Jan. 30-Feb. 3. With a huge portfolio of products ready to be highlighted at the show, Spielwarenmessse is once again showcasing the best and brightest with this year’s ToyAward.
A total of 214 exhibitors with 524 new products entered with hopes of seeing their toys at the top. For the first round, Spielwarenmesse had a jury digitally select toys using the criteria “potential for success in retail, play fun, comprehensibility of the product concept, and originality.” Those toys that made it to the next round were used to select the finalists during a joint meeting of experts, with the two additional criteria of “safety and workmanship & quality.”

The ToyAward winners will be announced at this year’s Spielwarenmesse on Wednesday, Jan. 31. The fair invites members of the press as well as content creators to attend at 10:30 a.m. in Hall 3A.
