At-home toymaking is getting easier.
Toybox Labs has two new 3D printers for home use, Comet and Alpha Two. The printers are specifically designed for long-term use by children and families. Both models are available online through Toybox’s website.
The Alpha Two follows in the footsteps of Alpha One, with upgraded durability, reliability, precision, connectivity, and ease of use. The compact printer has an injection-molded frame for long-term, uninterrupted use. It features a 25% increase in speed and tool-free calibration and setup. It is available online now.
The Comet is Toybox’s most powerful and largest model. It has seven times the print volume of other Toybox printers and was built for modularity. The printer has a smart leveling system for smooth, consistent printing. It is available for pre-order and ready for hardware and plug-and-play upgrades.
Toybox offers both printers to consumers in a variety of bundles, providing Toybox Plus membership, bolts for toys, and coconut food rolls.
Both printers pair with the Toybox Creator Platform, which offers additional tools and support. Users can manage multiple printers and access computer-aided design (CAD). The platform is friendly for kids and families and was recently upgraded with advanced design features.
