University Games has launched Hanayama 3D puzzles inspired by the video game series The Legend of Zelda.

The new Legend of Zelda Hanayama Cast Metal Puzzles require skill, thought, and a passion for The Legend of Zelda. Hanayama of Japan creates detailed, cast 3D puzzles to be disassembled and re-assembled. There are different levels of difficulty; a Level 1 puzzle should be easy, while a Level 6 puzzle will be difficult.

There are three Legend of Zelda Hanayama brain teasers available, each featuring an item or emblem from Zelda lore. This includes the Master Sword, Triforce, and Hyrule Crest.

“The Legend of Zelda is one of the most successful franchises to ever emerge from the video game world,” says Craig Hendrickson, Senior Vice President, Product Development. “University Games’ The Legend of Zelda Hanayama puzzles demonstrate an appropriate, and what should be a very popular, pairing for the property and sophisticated product category.”

The Legend of Zelda Master Sword Hanayama brain teaser includes a 4.5-inch cast metal sword inspired by the one seen throughout the video games. Puzzlers must rise to the challenge and figure out how to remove the magic Master Sword from the stone pedestal — and how to put it back. This is a Level 6 puzzle.

The Legend of Zelda Triforce Hanayama brain teaser is available to unlock and rebuild as well. Also 4.5 inches, the cast metal puzzle looks like the ultimate source of power. After unlocking the pieces, the Triforce of Power, Triforce of Courage, and Triforce of Wisdom must be put back together. This puzzle is a Level 5 challenge.

The final 4.5-inch puzzle in the collection, the Legend of Zelda Hyrule Crest Hanayama brain teaser, showcases the Royal Family Crest of Hyrule. Puzzlers must figure out how to untangle the chain and, of course, put it back together. This Level 4 puzzle has the lowest difficulty rating of the three.

The puzzles are available for $26.99 each on Amazon, areyougame.com, and at various Barnes & Noble locations.
