Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) has new plans to elevate women in tabletop gaming.

WiT is a nonprofit focused on empowering women in the toy industry through opportunities for networking, mentorship, and more. Now, the organization is leaning into the world of tabletop, with the launch of the Tabletop Gaming Learning Community (TLC).

We’re excited to kick off the Tabletop Gaming Learning Community and boost our support to women navigating this booming segment of our industry. It’s all about connecting passionate individuals, sparking insightful conversations, driving innovation, and celebrating each other’s success.
Ehi Oviasu-Kahn, Chairwoman of the Board at WiT

TLC will cater to women who already work in or hope to work in the tabletop gaming industry. WiT will host meetings virtually on Zoom every third Thursday of the month at 2 p.m. ET, starting March 21. The community will be led by professionals within the industry, with a leadership team including Dannie Loe, Heather O’Neill, Jennifer Graham-Macht, Julien Sharp, Lindsey Rode, and Michele Spring Fajeau.

WiT’s new plans are a continuation of its efforts to serve women within the industry. The organization has other initiatives, such as its Wonder Woman Awards, scholarships to students in industry-related undergraduate programs, and more. The nonprofit has 25 chapters in the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, France, and the UK.

TLC is open to any members of WiT, and accepts suggestions from members for topics of discussion through a dedicated form. More information about TLC as well as registration can be found on the official webpage.
