Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) has officially launched nominations for the 2023 Wonder Women Awards.
“This year’s theme is Thrive Together: Celebrating Boldness, Impact, and Collaboration,” says Nancy Molenda, Wonder Women Awards Co-Chair. “We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our industry’s remarkable women for their hard work, determination, and collaborative achievements.”
Anybody can submit a nominee for the Wonder Women Awards, including self-nominations, at womenintoys.com. Companies nominating employees are asked to limit their nominations to one per category.
“There are countless extraordinarily talented women in our industry who continue to inspire us all,” says Wonder Women Awards Co-Chair Ehi Oviasu-Kahn. “Let the nominating begin!”
Nominations are open from now, March 27, until May 19. The categories include: designer/inventor, inbound licensing, marketing, public relations and communications, brand franchise, digital storytelling, social impact, creative genius, commercial sales, and rising leader.
Finalists will be announced in July ahead of the Oct. 1 awards gala, which will benefit the WiT Foundation Scholarship Program. The gala lines up with the Toy Fair in New York this year.
