Zigazoo, a kids’ social network, revealed the efforts being taken by kids on the platform to raise thousands of dollars for Save The Children’s “Get Fed Up” campaign, a program that works to end child hunger.
In partnership with the Mattel Children’s Foundation, Crazy Aaron’s, and AmazonSmile, $5 for the first 1,000 children who complete each and every Zigazoo task will be donated to the campaign. The challenges began on World Children’s Day, Nov. 20, and are being hosted by actor Julian Lerner, Mattel Children’s Foundation, and a bunch of other celebrities and kids.
“Inspiring children is at the forefront of what we want to accomplish as a company and we couldn’t be happier to help encourage acts of giving and gratitude among kids this holiday season,” says Steve Totzke, president and chief commercial officer at Mattel and Mattel Children’s Foundation board member. “Our challenge on Zigazoo is an exciting new way for kids to engage in and support our mission and we thank Zigazoo for providing this unique platform.”

Donations are raised for every kid that enters the set of challenges, which are geared towards teaching kids about philanthropy and encouraging them to spread kindness this holiday season. After engaging in the challenges, kids can display their pride with a digital Save The Children badge for their Zigazoo profiles.
“Save the Children is grateful to Zigazoo, the Mattel Children’s Foundation, AmazonSmile, and Crazy Aaron’s for creating a fun way for kids to give back this holiday season,” says Jennifer Roberti, Chief Marketing Officer, Save the Children. “One in five kids worldwide is suffering from hunger, and that number is growing. This partnership offers a chance for kids to support their peers around the world and to help end childhood hunger.”
To continue the season of giving back, AmazonSmile is offering the chance for buyers to donate 0.5% of purchase sales to their charity of choice. Additionally, shoppers can donate toys and other kids’ items through Amazon Smile Charity Lists.
