FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment (FMKFE) recently announced that it has greenlit the second season of the highly-rated preschool series, Kate & Mim-Mim. Series two is due to launch on Disney Junior US and will air globally late this year. The series is currently in pre-production and will include two themed seasonal specials.
Jazwares has signed the master toy rights for FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment’s pre-school series, Tree Fu Tom. Under the terms of the deal, Jazwares will take on the role of global manufacturer and distribute a new range of toys in the UK, Asia, North America, and Latin America. Marking the first dedicated second screen experience for a kids’ TV show in the U.S., the Wizards vs Aliens app is available now on the App Store.
The app offers a comprehensive and robust Wizards vs Aliens experience, providing content beyond what can be experienced in the broadcast TV universe. Consumers will have an opportunity to sync the app with actual episodes of the show, providing immersive content to enhance their viewing experience. As viewers progress through the series and continue using the sync feature, they will unlock additional content relevant to each episode and the progression of the storyline. Mattel brings its latest action hero property to boys across the country with Max Steel, a new CGI animated TV series premiering on March 25 at 4 p.m. on Disney XD. The animated series follows the life and times of a teenage boy named Maxwell McGrath and his out-of-this-world alien companion, Steel, as they overcome trials and tribulations, demonstrating teamwork and perseverance along the way.
