The Alpha Group Co. Ltd. has invested $94 million to acquire Baby Trend Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of juvenile products. The acquisition marks Alpha’s entry into the infant category in North America, catalyzing the global development plan for Alpha’s juvenile business.
Following the acquisition, Baby Trend will complete its first major brand redesign in its 28-year history with a new logo and brand identity. The rebranding is part of a bigger plan aimed at updating its offerings and making them more appealing to the modern family.
