ZAG America, the entertainment studio behind Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, named industry veteran Manuel Torres Port as its chief brand officer.
In this newly created role, Port will manage consumer products, live events, experiences, and brand franchises — including digital and gaming. He will report to Jeremy Zag, founder and CEO of ZAG.
Prior to ZAG, Port most recently held the position of EVP of global consumer products at NBCUniversal. He also led consumer products initiatives as the SVP of global toys and publishing at Nickelodeon.
ZAG also expanded its leadership team with three more executive hires — Julian Zag as executive vice president of worldwide operations, Liz Grampp as senior vice president of studio and franchise marketing, and Ian Lambur as senior vice president of global distribution and co-production.
Working with Port, this new team will prepare for the company’s next stage of growth, focusing on storytelling, fan appreciation, and character growth across franchises.
Former Bandai executive Jose Antonio Vargas also joins ZAG in an advisory role.
