Blue's Clues Steve and Joe

Nickelodeon’s new preschool series, Blue’s Clues & You!, will debut on Monday, Nov. 11, at 9 a.m. (ET/PT). For the premiere, Steve Burns (Steve) and Donovan Patton (Joe) will reprise their roles in the first episode, “Meet Josh!,” as they help new live-action host Josh (Joshua Dela Cruz) and the audience solve their first game of Blue’s Clues. Ahead of the premiere, Nick Jr. has released a first-look clip from the episode.

For the new series, the titular puppy Blue will be joined by Josh, alongside returning friends, such as Tickety Tock, Slippery Soap, Shovel, Pail, Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Cinnamon, Paprika, Magenta, Sidetable Drawer, and Mailbox, plus the original Thinking Chair. The Handy Dandy Notebook and crayon have been updated, and Josh will jam out some tunes on his new Handy Dandy Guitar.

On the retail front, Just Play is the global preschool toy partner for plush, figures, play sets and role-play; VTech will be the global partner for early learning toys; and Cardinal will handle games and puzzles.

Three episodes of the series will debut on Walmart’s video service, Vudu, prior to the formal launch on Nickelodeon this November. Blues Clues & You! is from original series creators Traci Paige Johnson, Todd Kessler, and Angela C. Santomero.
