Fred Rogers Productions is expanding its creative team with a newly created position.
The award-winning children’s media organization has appointed Gabrielle Howard as creative development manager. In her new role, Howard will manage the company’s ever-growing portfolio of intellectual property (IP) in development, seek out new collaborators and projects, and guide them through the development process.
“I’m over the moon to join Fred Rogers Productions, a company that is so well known and respected for quality programming that serves the needs of children and their families,” Howard says. “I’m excited to dive in and help build a programming slate of content that resonates with current fans and attracts many new ones, too.”
Prior to joining Fred Rogers Productions, Howard worked as a media consultant and advisor on social media strategy and podcast development. She also worked for The N (TeenNick) from MTV Networks, where she worked on animated and live-action properties with companies including Klasky Csupo and Endemol.
“Gabrielle is a terrific addition to our team,” says Ellen Doherty, chief creative officer, Fred Rogers Productions. “She knows the kids’ industry and has a great eye for talent. I look forward to working with her to find and generate even more extraordinary content for young viewers.”
