LEGO Ideas has unveiled a new place to stay warm this winter.
The LEGO Ideas A-Frame cabin set is inspired by the architectural design of real A-frame log cabins. Designed by Andrea Lattanzio, an Italian LEGO fan designer, the set has two stories: an upper-level bedroom and a lower-level living room and kitchen.
Outside of the cabin is a deck with steps leading down to the woodshed and trees. Four minifigures are included with the 2,082-piece set. Other details include a squirrel living in the trees, a fireplace, an acoustic guitar, and a canoe.
“I was looking through a book with many strange houses from all over the world and I discovered the A-Frame and it was love at first sight,” Lattanzio says. “I started with a sketch, so I had a clear vision and then built my design in about 10 days.”
In celebration of the launch, The LEGO Group has put together a nature retreat where fans can visit the woods through the LEGO cabin cam. The set is available Feb. 1 at LEGO Stores and specialty retailers across the U.S for $179.99.
