Mattel revealed a new line of fully customizable Barbie dolls at this year’s Toy Fair. Retailing for $100, the Barbie Basics: You Create Doll Kit includes a wide array of mix-and-match heads, wigs, body types, clothing, and other accessories to create the perfect doll for every kid. The kits will launch on Mattel Creations’ website on Mar. 6.
With the sets, kids can endlessly explore their imaginations to create captivating new styles. The dolls are even compatible with the Barbie Basics 15th Anniversary Doll No. 3 for even more swapping fun.
Mattel also unveiled its Spring 2025 surprise toy line. Inspired by the success of blind-box trends, the Barbie Party: Unboxed dolls feature 10 unique surprises for kids to discover within colorful, birthday-gift-themed packaging.

Later this fall, Barbie Deluxe Style Dolls are getting a makeover! Eight glamorous new dolls will join the collector-favorite line, each sporting an elegant, glitzy look. Mattel will also introduce rare chase variants to the collection, the first of which retailing exclusively at Target this spring. These limited-edition dolls will have a unique character and look for long-time Barbie lovers to collect.
The Barbie Basics: You Create Doll Kits will be available Mar. 6 on Mattel Creations’ website. The remaining Barbie products will be released throughout the coming year.
