As AI continues to transform the toy industry landscape, Artificial Imagery has its sights set on the future. Today, the company is launching its first product: the Imagix Crystal Ball, a kid-friendly AI companion.
The Imagix Crystal Ball is home to 3D holographic characters that talk, listen, and learn to adapt to each kid’s needs. Kids ages 6 and up can choose from either Ellie the Fairy or Ember the Dragon, both of which guide kids through interactive stories, games, and even homework in a safe, screen-free environment. Over time, kids and the AI characters will develop a unique relationship, complete with personalized learning and bespoke play, which parents can monitor with the toy’s companion app.

Imagix was founded by playroom veterans from all corners of the industry, including Richard Yanofsky, CEO and Founder of WowWee; Scott Bachrach, former Founder and CEO of Arcade1Up; and Matt Bonaccorso, a former executive for Nickelodeon, Paramount, and Warner Bros. Together, the founders aim to blend the timeless joy of play with the latest innovations of today’s technology to create a magical, imaginative experience that helps kids connect, learn, and grow.
