Next year, little learners can bring some of their favorite toys into the classroom with a new line of branded educational resources from Teacher Created Materials (TCM).
The publishing house inked a multi-year licensing agreement with Mattel to develop and distribute a series of early learning materials starring some of Mattel’s most beloved toy brands, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, and American Girl. Launching in Spring 2026, this line aims to encourage a lifelong love for learning by fusing education with the joy of play.

The initial line will include Barbie and Hot Wheels-branded workbooks, flashcards, and other educational products tailored to both preschool and elementary curricula. Designed for students aged 3-8, this program enables kids to strengthen their math, literacy, and content mastery outside of the classroom, while also providing teachers with functional materials to integrate into their lessons.
“This partnership with Teacher Created Materials allows us to extend Mattel’s iconic properties beyond playtime and into meaningful learning experiences,” said Ryan Ferguson, Global Head of Publishing at Mattel. “Through the power of storytelling and education, we hope to inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners everywhere.”
The first Mattel-branded TCM products will roll out in Spring 2026 across the U.S. and Canada, with additional launches scheduled for 2027. For more information, visit TCM’s website.
