A new STEM-focused kit from Abacus Brands and Endemol Shine North America brings MasterChef Junior from kids’ living rooms to their kitchens.
The MasterChef Junior Virtual Reality Kit is a VR cooking experience that features tips and tricks from former favorite contestants of the competition series and teaches kids about food science. Each page of the included workbook incorporates augmented reality and transports kids to the kitchen that’s used on the show.
Kids learn about the science behind the food with 30 recipes and 80 pages. The kit also comes with VR goggles and a 21-piece, BPA-free set of full-size, food-safe kitchen utensils that are needed to complete the recipes.
The kit is available now for $64.99 on Amazon and at abacusbrands.com. It follows the successful launch of Bill Nye’s VR Science Kit, as well as VR Kits based on magic, chefs, science, and the universe.
