UK-based Toikido has a new gang.
Toikido founder Darran Garnham broke the news on LinkedIn that his growing company inked a deal with indie game developer, Boneloaf to create toys, apparel, and more inspired by the video game, Gang Beasts. Following its recent success with the license for Innersloth’s Among Us, Toikido looks to Gang Beasts as another potential hit that will soon transcend from the screen to the toy aisles of retailers everywhere.
Gang Beasts formally launched in 2017 following a PC “early access” period that began in 2014. Over the past few years, the game has evolved with versions published for PC and console platforms, including Xbox One and Playstation 4. The award-winning title features a colorful crew of “stupid pugnacious thugs punching, kicking, and throwing their foes into unspecified hazardous machinery, flaming incinerator pits, and ginormous industrial fans.”
