The 2012 BreyerFest British Invasion kicks off this Friday, July 20. BreyerFest is Breyer Animal Creations’ annual celebration of horses. Each year, BreyerFest features a unique theme; this year’s British Invasion is a tribute to the London Olympics. Held each July at the Kentucky Horse Park, the three-day festival features horse performances, a Trade Show, a Breyer Store filled with model horses and equestrian-themed gifts, and meet-and-greets with the horses that inspired Breyer’s portrait models. Admission to BreyerFest includes free activities, such as Stablemates painting, pony rides, petting zoo and pig races, face painting, and magic shows.
Each Single Day Ticket Holder will receive a Stablemates Model and the opportunity to watch America’s future Olympians compete in the Adequan FEI North American Young Riders Championships, presented by Gotham Norrh. Friday’s events include the Hair Fascinator Contest at 1:00 p.m., the BreyerFest Live Auction at 6:00 p.m., a Bit of British Pop-Up, and a presentation of Romeo & Juliet, performed by Kentucky Shakespeare at 10:30 a.m.
