Kids in China will be among the first to check into Bubble’s Hotel.
Unicorn Entertainment, Tencent Video, and Epic Story Media (ESM) teamed up to launch the new, 3D animated series about a “magical and joyful resort full of bubble magic.” Bubble’s Hotel was created by Narae Ha (Rainbow Ruby) and written by Nancy Lees (Slugterra), and backed by Creative Wealth Media and BRON Studios, which owns a minority stake in ESM.
“Unicorn and Tencent have been wonderful partners who have been able to execute Narae’s vision of a fun and adorable
preschool show that brings joy and problem-solving to our characters,” says ESM President Ken Faier. “The multinational team is working diligently to produce the highest quality show and amazing comedy for our audience. This is another great example of Epic’s mission of maximizing creator-led properties for a global marketplace.”
In Bubble’s Hotel, guests can embark on imaginative adventures with the help of a hotelier who’s always there to save the day. Upon check-in, each guest receives a pet that suits their new persona and a room tailored just for them.
Tencent Video will debut the series in China this summer.
Unicorn Entertainment created a toy line focused on collectibility for the Chinese audience. The line includes room sets that kids can use to build their hotel. Mini suitcase blind bags reveal figures and pets inspired by the more than 78 guests appearing in the first season of the show.
ESM tells The Toy Book that it is currently discussing the property with additional toymakers in hopes of bringing it to toy departments around the world.
