Carrera Revell of Americas is debuting the world’s first AI-powered racing system at Toy Fair. The company celebrated for its model kits and 3D puzzles plans to debut Carrera Hybrid, which uses technology and tangible hardware for next-level fun.
“The Carrera Hybrid marks a new era in slot car racing,” says Frank Tiessen, Carrera Revell of Americas President. “By integrating AI-powered technology with traditional racing, we’re delivering a modern gaming experience that pushes the boundaries of what enthusiasts can expect.”
The slot racing system features up to 30 riders simultaneously on a single track, racing sessions with up to 16 players, true-to-scale 1:50 vehicles on extra-wide roadways, app-based control, driving on- and off-track, and adjustable settings for speed, tired grip, braking, and more.
The company will auction its Toy Fair display for charity next month. Slot car fans can bring home the setup featuring the new Hybrid system. Bids close at end of day March 4; interested bidders can submit via email at auction@carrera-revell.com.
