The LEGO Group will move its London headquarters from Farringdon to 76 Southbank by 2027. The company will take just over three floors of the new location, which sits on the banks of the River Thames and is in the heart of the culinary and art scene in London’s Southbank. The new location will also help the company achieve its sustainability goals. 76 Southbank, developed by Wolfe Asset Management Ltd., was built with renewable energy use in mind, with rooftop solar panels and easy access to public transportation.
The relocation is part of a strategic effort by The LEGO Group to attract more talent and grow the company’s team globally. In the U.S., the company also aims to expand with a new manufacturing site currently under construction and a new office location in Boston, Massachusetts, opening sometime this month. In Denmark, a new Copenhagen hub will be opening in 2027, and the Billund Headquarters will expand with an Innovation Campus for designers and a Kornmarken Campus for the engineering and innovation teams.
“We’re excited about moving to South Bank. It’s the cultural heart of London which makes it the perfect location for a company dedicated to inspiring creativity. 76 Southbank is an iconic building, and its mix of large floors and outdoor spaces will help strengthen our culture of collaboration, innovation and play. We have built a fantastic team in London across all areas of our business from product development, digital technology and our in-house creative agency to commercial teams and corporate functions and are looking forward to growing further in the new location.”
