Paris-based animation and distribution company Dandelooo is partnering with Moonworks Productions and Amopix Studios to bring its new animated series The Super Heroes of Nature to screen across the globe this December. The hybrid 2D educational series will take viewers ages 4-10 through the fascinating world of biology by using metaphors, easily-digestible research, and humor.
Charlotte Schmidt, Emmanuelle Pouydebat, and Nicolas Bazeille penned the scripts, and each episode revolves around one particular animal. Kids will examine aspects of biodiversity like reproduction, social behavior, the immune system, and so much more.
Amopix Studios will oversee The Super Heroes of Nature’s pipeline management, artistic direction, animation, and compositing. Upon signing the deal, Dandelooo has obtained exclusive worldwide distribution rights to the animated show set to debut next winter.
The Super Heroes of Nature has already been pre-sold to French television channels like TV5 Monde, RTS, Télé-Québec, Arte Editions, Universcience, Le Vaisseau, and Noozy.
No word yet on toy licensing for the series.
