Fat Brain Toys is gearing up to celebrate two decades of fun.
Launched on Halloween in 2002, Fat Brain Toys is now approaching its 20-year anniversary as one of the most renowned direct-to-consumer toy companies in America.
The co-founders, Mark and Karen Carson, started the company in honor of their 10-year-old son, Adam, in their basement. Adam is currently the lead industrial designer of Fat Brain Toys, and the company currently operates in 195,000 square feet of warehouse space. Fat Brain Toys also owns two retail locations and headquarters.
Over the past 20 years, the company has participated in numerous toy trends, selling its toys in more than 140 countries. The company has also enjoyed the success of launching the popular Dimpl toys, which have achieved global acclaim.
“Approaching this milestone, it’s been therapeutic to reminisce about where we’ve been and how far we’ve come as a company,” says Mark Carson, co-founder of Fat Brain Toys. “But seeing the joy a toy brings to a child never gets old!”
To celebrate 20 years of fun, the company is offering a 20% discount across its website and its retail locations in Kansas City and Omaha.
