Firefly Brand Management is joining forces with Media I.M. Incorporated to become the North American licensing agent for the company’s Sunny Bunnies. The CGI animated series, which has been beloved by more than 4 million viewers across more than 160 countries, is broadcast across top streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Kiddoodle TV. 

With the popularity of the series being catapulted by a successful social media presence, Firefly is actively seeking key partnerships to further embolden the Sunny Bunnies brand by bringing products like toys, games, and plush to the market. 

Formed by former Viacom International Media Networks executives Irina Nazarenko and Maria Ufland, Media I.M has seen success in licensing agreements with animation brands like Rosa & Dara, Flying Animals, and Robodz since the company launched in 2014.

“We were impressed by [Firefly’s] enthusiasm for the brand and its prospects in North America, together with their track record for tenacious deal-making and years of experience,” says Media IM’s Brand Licensing Director Gavin Metcalfe  “The brand is going from strength to strength in the U.S., with double-digit growth in 2022 on YouTube compared with the previous year.”

Launched in 2014, Sunny Bunnies tells the tale of bunny best friends Turbo, Big Boo, Shiny, Iris, and Hopper as they explore fascinating destinations, spreading goodwill and light wherever they go. Firefly seeks new partnerships to release products based on the highly successful, colorful brand of characters.
