Michigan-based Flat River Group LLC expands its footprint in toys and games with its acquisition of Optimum Fulfillment LLC.

Based in Peru, Illinois, Optimum Fulfillment services the e-commerce industry as a wholesale distributor of toys, games, and other consumer products. The company counts Amazon, Kohls, Target, and Walmart among its clients for products sold online.

“Optimum brings extensive toy and game industry knowledge, deep relationships with respected vendors, and strong operational capabilities to Flat River Group,” says Matt Dean, vice president and co-founder, Flat River Group.

The acquisition of Optimum follows last year’s acquisition of Impressions Game Distribution Services, a company that services game publishers, hobby stores, and distributors.

“Together, our combined operations are well-positioned to service our customers and support their continued rapid growth,” says Matt Stahlin, president and co-founder, Flat River Group. “Optimum’s team is a great fit with our organization.”

Founded in 2011, Flat River Group distributes toys and games for more than 250 vendors internationally.
