Funko Games Launches a Line of Holiday Movie-Themed Games

It may just now be Oct. 1, but Funko Games is ready to get families in the holiday spirit.

Today, the company released five new card games inspired by classic holiday movies (pictured above). They include National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Card Game, Elf Snowball Showdown Card Game, A Christmas Story: A MAJOR Card Game (which comes with a miniature leg lamp figure!), Frosty the Snowman: Follow the Leader Card Game, and Gremlins: Holiday Havoc! Card Game.

Each of these card games comes in present-themed packaging and has gameplay inspired by the characters and events of the movie. The games are also designed for a variety of ages (4-8+).

Then, on Nov. 1, Funko Games will release Elf — Journey From the North Pole, a board game inspired by the movie Elf. In the game, players help Buddy the Elf find his dad by laying a loopy route from the North Pole to New York City and earn points by getting Buddy to secret goal landmarks along the way. The game is available to preorder now from Target.
