Funrise unveils Powershots, a new tabletop sports brand that translates stadium-style competition into compact, skill-based play experiences. The brand debuts at Spielwarenmesse with its first release, Powershots Strike Soccer, scheduled to launch in Winter 2026.
Designed for ages 3 and up, Powershots Strike Soccer centers on a simple competitive mechanic — aim, slam, score — that encourages repeat play, coordination, and friendly rivalry. Players position the ball, adjust their aim, and press down to launch an action shot, creating fast-paced tabletop matchups suitable for solo play or head-to-head competition.
The ready-to-play soccer set includes a goal with a real net and a movable goalie, allowing for varied scoring challenges. Action shots can travel up to 15 feet, bringing physical energy to tabletop play. Players can also customize their kicker with a set of 40 country flags and number stickers, adding a personalized element to each matchup. Three character styles — Sam, Cruz, and Ana — will be available at select retailers worldwide, including Walmart and Amazon.
To mark the launch, Funrise is hosting an interactive Powershots activation on the Spielwarenmesse show floor, where attendees can participate in head-to-head challenges. The activation also coincides with Funrise’s 30th year exhibiting at the show.
Following the debut of Powershots Strike Soccer, Funrise plans to expand the brand into additional sports formats, including basketball-style shooting, football-style target play, and hockey-style scoring, extending the same competitive play pattern across multiple sports experiences.
