Game of Idioms Launches at Toys “R” Us

Toys “R” Us has recently launched, Befudiom, an educational and fun game. Wendy Hampton originally invented the game to keep her ten-year old daughter from feeling bored. Together, they created Befudiom, which is a board game about idioms. The game teaches young children the meaning behind popular idioms and phrases such as “it’s raining cats and dogs,” and “bite your tongue,” among many others. Each player must get his or her team to guess the idiom on the card by acting, drawing, shouting, and spelling. Schoolteachers can also use the game to help students understand different cultures, according to their figures of speech, and teach the history of the various phrases and idioms.
