The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled the first Garbage Pail Kids bobbleheads in celebration of the brand’s 40th anniversary and Halloween. The debut series features five figures: Adam Bomb, Dead Ted, Dead Ted 40th Anniversary Edition, Leaky Lindsay 40th Anniversary Edition, and a 40th Anniversary Garbage Pail Kids logo bobblehead. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,025 and is available exclusively through the museum’s online store, priced at $40 each or $175 for the full set.

“A phenomenon in the 1980s, the popularity of Garbage Pail Kids has not waned 40 years later, and these bobbleheads will be a must-have for GPK fans everywhere,” says National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar.
The Adam Bomb figures showcase the character pressing a detonator button, while Leaky Lindsay holds a cupcake topped with lighted candles. The Dead Ted figures include both the original design and a 40th anniversary version. The series highlights the enduring popularity of Garbage Pail Kids.
Garbage Pail Kids debuted in 1985. Created by cartoonist Art Spiegelman, who began his career at Topps in the mid-1960s, Spiegelman blended gross-out humor with sly parody. The IP followed the success of Topps’ Wacky Packages, which Spiegelman co-created. Garbage Pail Kids were a massive success, despite attempts by schools and parents to ban them, and swiftly became a cultural phenomenon.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official Garbage Pail Kids licensee, continues to produce collectible bobbleheads for fans and organizations nationwide. This launch marks the first time the classic trading card characters have been immortalized in bobblehead form, offering collectors a new way to celebrate the iconic franchise.
