Funko surprised fans at New York Comic Con (NYCC) by teasing a new series of mystery box collectibles. Now, fans can finally add them to their shelves.
The new collection, titled Premium Blind Box, builds on the company’s previous forays into mystery collectibles, turning its focus to unique, artist-driven designs. Each series collaborates with both in-house and independent creatives to design bold, imaginative, and adorable figures that stand out on collectors’ shelves. The line’s initial launch is available at funko.com.

“After captivating audiences at New York Comic Con, we’re excited to introduce Kiguzoomies and Funko Fun Squad as part of the first wave of releases on Funko’s new artist-driven platform, inviting fans everywhere to experience the wonder and whimsy these collections represent,” said Husnal Shah, Chief Product Officer of Funko. “With this launch, we’re opening creative doors for both in-house and indie artists to share their stories and connect with new audiences. The series debuted with two charming, character-driven designs: Kiguzoomies, a herd of woodland critters wearing animal-inspired pajamas, and the Funko Fun Squad, featuring the make-believe misadventures of Funko’s mascots Freddy and Franny. Both collections arrive in decorated, mystery packaging, with a random figure hiding inside and 1-in-36 chance of unboxing a secret chase. Funko plans to expand the line with more artist-inspired collectibles throughout the next year.
