Hasbro has joined forces with recording artist, performer, and actress Demi Lovato to introduce new ways to move with the Twister Moves line. Lovato will be calling for fans on social media worldwide to play along in The Biggest Game of Twister Ever, and on Tuesday, will take over the Twister Twitter Handle (@Twister) to kick off the campaign.
Fans can play along by taking a photo or video of their moves to match Lovato’s instructions and tweeting it back to the Twister Twitter handle and the hashtag #LetsMove–a Twister mat is not even required to participate. To keep the game going, fans can continue to share their moves with Lovato and the Twister brand throughout the year with the same #LetsMove hashtag. Lovato will also star in a global television campaign for the Twister Moves line featuring her hit song, “Neon Lights.”
The Twister Moves line lets players track their skips, hoops, and moves, while trying to beat their best scores. The Skip-It game and Hoop include a built-in counter that keeps track of players’ skips and spins. A Twister Moves Hip Hop Sports electronic dance game will be out this fall, where players will match their feet to the beat and flashing colors on the spots to score. Players can also use their Moves Tracker to digitally track moves and combine scores across the Twister Moves system, including their moves playing the classic Twister game.
