After being sidelined due to the pandemic and shifting gears into a drive-thru experience, the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Tour is revving its engines for a comeback.
Live events will resume beginning Sept. 18 at the Toyota Center in Ontario, California as an expanded lineup of monster trucks makes its way across the U.S. on a 10-stop tour this fall. Three new life-sized “toys” will join the spectacle, including Mega Wrex — a 12-foot, 1,800 horsepower dinosaur-themed truck; Midwest Madness — a first-ever collaboration between Hot Wheels and Bigfoot driven by Rebecca Schnell, the first woman to pilot a truck on the tour; and Race Ace — a new truck inspired by the Hot Wheels flame design.

Each date on the tour will feature the return of the Crash Zone Pre-Show Party for families to get an up-close look at the trucks. Additionally, returning show host Freddie Sheppard will be joined by a new co-host, Marny Florence.

Mattel and Raycom-Legacy Content Company will stage each performance in accordance with state and local guidelines to ensure the safest environment possible for all participants and attendees. In addition to appearances by real-life versions of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks toys, such as Tiger Shark, Bone Shaker, and more, fans can witness the fire-breathing transforming robot, Megasaurus, and some high-flying Freestyle Motocross.
