IMC Toys is teaming up with Disney for the first time in North America to launch a collection of Cry Babies themed after iconic Disney characters.
Designed for kids ages 18 months and up, the collection will feature two components, the Cry Babies Tiny Cuddles, which will feature dolls that cry real tears in Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, Daisy Duck, and Winnie the Pooh-themed pajamas, and Cry Babies based on Minnie Mouse and Stitch that cry real tears and make realistic sounds when their pacifiers are removed. To get these two dolls to stop crying, kids must give them back their pacifiers.
“For more than a century, Disney has brought so many wonderful characters and stories to families across the world,” says Crystal Ganir, Vice President for Global and North America Head of Marketing at IMC Toys. “We’re delighted to be working with one of the world’s most iconic companies to elevate their beloved tales that have captivated audiences at home with our products.”
The collection will first launch in February with the release of the Cry Babies Minnie doll at Target while the Cry Babies Stitch Doll will launch at Walmart in May. The Cry Babies Tiny Cuddles Disney dolls will be available at several retailers.
