The Squishmallows brand is going mobile.

Jazwares and East Side Games Group (ESGG) are working together to develop a mobile game inspired by the plush sensation, which debuted in 2017 and has since sold more than 200 million Squishmallows worldwide. Each Squishmallows collectible plush features its own personality, a unique design, and ultra-soft feel. With more than 2,000 Squishmallows characters available, fans will now have an opportunity to collect the plush characters online as well. The game will include new characters in addition to fan favorites.

“The Squishmallows phenomenon and worldwide demand have elevated the brand to new heights, including innovative cross-category partnerships,” says Gerhard Runken, Senior Vice President of Brand & Marketing at Jazwares. “As the Squishmallows community continues to grow and diversify, our collaboration with East Side Games will help us deliver new fan-focused mobile gaming experiences.”

Jason Bailey, CEO of ESGG, adds, “Squishmallows is loved by the world over and we are incredibly excited to serve and expand its audience with new levels of fun and interactivity that is only possible with our mobile game. We can’t wait to share more about how players and fans alike will be able to play with their favorite Squish.”

Jazwares will show off what’s next for the Squishmallows brand at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas next month.
