Kartoon Studios and Bitkern will introduce the next generation to Bitcoin by producing a kid-friendly animated series. Alongside Bitcoin Brigade: Adventures in Satoshi City, the companies will launch a fully integrated business model to complement the series.
Bitcoin Brigade: Adventures in Satoshi City follows young heroes who solve puzzles, crack codes, and outsmart digital bandits with every quest. The show’s main protagonists embody characteristics of the cryptocurrency, such as Bitty Coin, who embodies Bitcoin, and Blocky Chain, who represents blockchain technology.

“Years ago, I produced and created the animated series of both Super Mario Brothers for Nintendo, and Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega,” says Andy Heyward, Chairman and CEO of Kartoon Studios. “Those successes helped launch the Nintendo and Sega game platforms. We believe ‘Bitcoin Brigade’ will have an equally revolutionary impact on the next level of entertainment, education, and gaming powered by blockchain technology.”
To develop the Bitcoin Brigade brand, the global media company is partnering with Bitkern, a leading Bitcoin mining company in Switzerland with roots in Austria and mining facilities worldwide. The two companies will create a global launch strategy for the series that spans content, digital education, merch, interactive apps, and a Bitcoin treasury strategy.
The animated series also introduces The Satoshi Sparks Rewards System. Young viewers earn “sparks” by watching episodes, completing quizzes, and solving cryptography challenges in companion apps.
Kartoon Studios’ Bitcoin Brigade: Adventures in Satoshi City debuts in Fall 2026 on Kartoon Channel. To learn more about Kartoon Studios, visit kartoonstudios.com.
