The LEGO Group has expanded its Formula One (F1) building set offerings with the release of its latest, a double pack featuring the podium-finishing AMR23 race car and the Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car.
Featuring a striking green color and design details like the Halo, rear wing, and partner logos, the two-in-one Aston Martin set comes with 564 pieces and retails for $44.99. It joins LEGO’s roster of other F1 sets in partnership with brands like McLaren and Mercedes.
“I have grown up as a huge fan of Aston Martin, so working with them on this set fulfilled a lifelong dream” says LEGO Group Designer Dan Squirrell. “I especially enjoyed working with the team at Aston Martin and my colleagues at The LEGO Group to get the details just right, by finding new ways to use the bricks to get the correct shapes.”
Matthew Chapman, Head of Licensing and Merchandise, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, adds, “We are excited about this collaboration with The LEGO Group to bring the Aston Martin Aramco and Aston Martin Lagonda brands together in one pack. Each model in the set showcases our famous British racing green colors, and we cannot wait for fans to get their hands on this to add to their car collections.”
The deal was brokered by IMG, a sports, events, and representation company. For more information on LEGO’s F1 offerings and other partnerships, visit The LEGO Group website.
