MGA Entertainment is partnering with Hershey, Mike and Ike, Pez, Peeps, and other confectionery brands for a co-branded line of collectible L.O.L. Surprise! dolls — the company’s largest collaboration to date.
The Peeps doll will come with yellow hair, a yellow outfit with candy details, and a Peeps marshmallow-shaped purse. The Pez doll will come with pink hair, a pink dress that says “Pez” on it, and a mini Pez dispenser with the character’s head on it. The Sweethearts doll will feature a red dress, sunglasses, and a purse adorned with pastel candy hearts full of sweet messages, like “Cutie Pie” and “Sweet Pea.” Other featured brands include Hershey’s Kisses, Whoppers, Jolly Rancher, Smarties, Chupa Chups, Dum Dums, Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales,, Milk Duds, Twizzlers, Reese’s, Bazooka, and Otter Pops.
“With L.O.L. Surprise! Loves Mini Sweets, we set out to create something truly one-of-a-kind that would spark a touch of nostalgia for parents, collectors and ‘kidults,’ what we call adults who are still kids at heart,” MGA Entertainment Founder and CEO Isaac Larian said in a statement.
The L.O.L. Surprise! Loves Mini Sweets collection will be available in three different series, all featuring an exclusive unboxing experience: The classic L.O.L. Surprise! ball with the new compostable paper ball; the Surprise-O-Matic capsule with a vending machine reveal; and a Deluxe Multi-Pack that comes in two styles and three dolls.
The collection will roll into stores in mid-June, with the Deluxe Multi-Packs launching later in August.
