A new CEO is joining Magformers, bringing with him a wealth of experience in international business and management.
Magformers is known for its magnetic construction sets made with BPA-free plastic and Rare Earth Neodymium magnets. The sets come with a variety of themes such as animals, aliens, a carnival, and more. The company has just appointed a new CEO, Sangkeun Lee, and looks toward a future of growth with him at the helm.
Lee previously worked as the head of the OLED Space Division at LG Display. During his time there, he focused on consumer as well as B2B customers and served as the President of LG Display Beijing in China. He also held major positions at Philips Electronics in the Netherlands and LG Electronics in the UK.
“Being at the forefront of the magnetic construction toy category, I see significant potential to grow the Magformers brand and its product range, and I anticipate strongly contributing to the education of tomorrow’s creators,” Lee says.
Magformers recently concluded its “Merry Magformers” Buy, Get, and Give campaign, with the company donating a set to The Ronald McDonald House Charities in Detroit for every featured Magformers set purchased.
