Mattel Television Studios has released the trailer for Season 27 of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, a children’s TV series featuring Thomas the Train, which will premiere on Netflix next month. The company also revealed the brand’s first-ever holiday movie: Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express.
Season 27 will feature new, original music and include 26 11-minute episodes. The first installment of 13 episodes will premiere in March, while the second installment of 13 episodes will be available for streaming on Sept. 19.
The new season, which is co-produced by Mattel Television Studios and Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Studios, follows Thomas and his automotive friends as they celebrate a new bakery-cafe that connects farm-to-table routes and stay busy by bringing ingredients and treats to festive tables. Thomas and other characters like Percy, Kana, Nia, Brunco, and Diesel work together to complete deliveries and accomplish the tasks at hand.
The new 60-minute holiday special, premiering on Netflix Nov. 21, will feature three original holiday songs. In Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express, Percy finds a letter to Santa Claus on the bottom of his mail cart on Christmas Eve. Enlisting the help of his friends, Percy travels through parades, gingerbread bakes, and the snow to deliver the letter and make the kid’s Christmas wish come true.

Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go will premiere on Netflix on March 7.
