MGA Entertainment Inc. (MGAE) welcomes Anne Parducci to the company in the newly created role of chief content officer.
With more than 25 years of executive experience in the toy and entertainment industries, Parducci will oversee content development for MGAE brands including L.O.L. Surprise! and others. She will also oversee the MGAE Studios division, the in-house creative team, and will manage MGAE’s ongoing interest in content distribution. Parducci will report directly to Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGAE.
“Great storytelling is at the heart of a brand’s success — it’s the conduit between making a connection with the consumer versus a one-time transaction,” says Larian. “Anne’s expertise and experience in this area will be instrumental to growing and strengthening the foundation and preparing all MGAE brands for the next level of story creation.”
Parducci most recently served on the board of directors for Build-a-Bear Workshop where she supported brand and content development. Past experience includes executive roles at Lionsgate and Mattel, where she launched the Barbie brand into entertainment with Barbie in the Nutcracker (2001).
“I am thrilled to join Isaac and his incredibly talented and creative team to further build the presence of MGA brands on screens everywhere, and partner with the best resources to create and distribute engaging content for families to enjoy,” Parducci says.
