Toy and entertainment company MGA Entertainment has completed the merger with doll manufacturer Zapf Creation AG. The merger was first mentioned last October and results in the new wholly-owned subsidiary MGA Zapf Creation GmbH. Thomas Eichhorn will remain as President, MGA Zapf Creation GmbH.

Following the merger, the companies will aim to consolidate the businesses and unify their approach with retail partners. There are no significant organizational or operational changes expected in Germany.

“After more than 20 years working closely as two separate companies, Zapf Creation has joined the MGA family and we welcome them as a part of MGA,” Isaac Larian, Founder and CEO, MGA Entertainment, says. “We look forward to growing both businesses and bringing smiles to children throughout Europe, the U.S., and the rest of the world as one company.”
