Minecraft and NERF’s latest partnership comes to fruition on Oct. 2 with the release of The Minecraft NERF World DLC (downloadable content).
This partnership between Minecraft and Hasbro-owned NERF will be an additional “world” players can download and explore within Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
The world will feature a NERF-themed arena, parkour challenges, and naturally, blaster battles. Signature NERF blasters will be available for use in-game as well, including the Minecraft-branded NERF Ender Dragon Blaster, inspired by one of the game’s biggest foes. The Ender Dragon Blaster is also currently available in physical form at Target and Walmart for $39.99.

From Roblox’s partnership with PMI Kids’ World on a line of Piñata Smashlings toys to its partnership with Jazwares on its DevSeries line, the release is part of a wave of hybrid physical-digital collaborations and initiatives that bridge the gap between physical and digital play.
The Minecraft NERF World DLC will be free to download through Minecraft: Bedrock Edition via the Minecraft Marketplace. To keep tabs on the latest from the sandbox video game, visit the Minecraft website.
