Kids in the UK will soon be able to enjoy a host of content from Moonbug Entertainment Ltd.
The company inked a new licensing agreement with BBC that serves as a re-license for CoComelon and Digley and Dazey and brings new content to the BBC for the very first time, including Blippi Wonders, Little Baby Bum, Gecko’s Garage, and Lellobee City Farm.
Content from Moonbug Entertainment will be available on BBC iPlayer. Gecko’s Garage will also be available on CBeebies, the BBC’s free-to-air preschool channel.
“Since our initial agreement last year, viewership has been strong and we look forward to seeing how our partnership continues to grow,” says Gina Costelloe, senior director of distribution and content partnerships EMEA, Moonbug Entertainment.
Moonbug creates and acquires intellectual property (IP) that it rapidly scales across entertainment and consumer products. In the toy department, the company maintains licensing partnerships with numerous companies, including Just Play, Wow! Stuff, Jazwares, Crayola, Jada Toys, Sunny Days Entertainment, Little Kids, Funko Games, and others.
