SEGA revealed the last 12 games to be included with the much-anticipated SEGA Genesis Mini upon release later this summer. Originally announced as having 40 titles, the system — a 55% scale version of the original Model 1 system that debuted in 1989 in North America — will now include 42 titles, including the fan-favorite Tetris and Darius.
Also joining the lineup are Virtua Fighter 2, Alisia Dragoon, Monster World IV, Kid Chameleon, Road Rash II, Eternal Champions, Columns, Dynamite Headdy, Strider, and Light Crusader. The lineup plays like a “greatest hits” of the era from SEGA, along with publishing partners, such as Konami, Capcom, EA, Disney, Interplay, and The Tetris Company. The system will make its industry debut at E3 for a hands-on demo.
