My Little Pony Gets the Deluxe Treatment in New Storybook App

PlayDate Digital, under license from Hasbro Inc., has released a new deluxe interactive storybook app, My Little Pony: Twilight’s Kingdom, based on the two-part fourth season of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

The plot involves Twilight Sparkle, who is looking for a way to prove herself worthy of her title as princess. However, she needs help from her closest pony friends—as well as a surprise ally—to save the kingdom from a villainous centaur.

The storybook app includes 27 pages of TV-quality animation, interactive action and voices on every page, Read to Me and Read Along modes for every level of early and emerging readers, and more. It is designed to create learning goals such as early and emergent literacy, new vocabulary, early reading skills, and reading comprehension.

My Little Pony: Twilight’s Kingdom is currently available in the App Store or www.appstore.com.
