Nukotoys Combines Real-World Toys and Mobile Games

Nukotoys has launched Animal Planet Wildlands and Monsterology, two entertaining and educational “Nuko-powered” games, an all-new category of play that merges physical toys with mobile games. Nukos are collectible trading cards that spring to life when tapped to the screen of an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The Animal Planet Wildlands and Monsterology apps are free to play and available now from the App Store. Packs of Nuko cards are now available at Apple Stores and other leading retailers nationwide, including Toys “R” Us, Target, and Walmart.

When the cards are tapped to the screen of an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the contents are instantly imported. For example, tapping a Cyclops Monsterology card creates a 3D Cyclops in the Monsterology app, while tapping an Animal Planet Wildlands Bengal Tiger card creates a 3D Bengal Tiger in the Animal Planet Wildlands app.

Cards are sold in randomized packs of three and seven cards, with each pack containing Rare, Uncommon, and Common cards. A Premium Collector’s Box Set containing 28 cards is available exclusively at Apple Stores. Kids and parents can also purchase virtual Nuko cards via in-app purchases, which provide instant play.
