In celebration of the Peanuts‘ 75th anniversary, Kidz Toyz is collaborating with the cherished franchise to create a line of kid-friendly musical instruments.
Universal Branding & Media brought the two brands together for a licensed collaboration.
Kidz Toyz showcases musical instrument products featuring licensed art and sounds from the 75-year-old franchise. Items include a 16-inch Peanuts-themed ukulele, a harmonica shaped like Snoopy, a 21-inch Peanuts-themed guitar, a Snoopy’s Joe Cool-themed electric guitar, an all-in-one band set, and Schroeder’s famous red piano. The red piano will play one of the franchise’s most famous tunes, Vince Guaraldi’s “Linus and Lucy.”
“Peanuts and music go together harmoniously, so it made sense to team up for an inspirational line celebrating the 75th Anniversary, and to capture the cross-generational appeal that a timeless brand like Peanuts is known for,” says Ken Lewis, President, Kidz Toyz USA LLC.
The piano and harmonica will be available at stores Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx, and Burlington this fall. The ukulele is available at Five Below and will join Walgreens’ shelves this fall. Kidz Toys has not said when the other instruments will be available.
