On a special edition of “The Playground Podcast,” Toy Book Deputy Editor James Zahn and Toy World Publisher John Baulch join hosts Richard Gottlieb of Global Toy Experts and The Toy Guy Chris Byrne to wrap up 2021 and look ahead into 2022 with insights from the U.S. and the UK.
On the show, the foursome discusses the global supply chain challenges, the state of toy retail, inflation and consumer habits, the return of live trade shows — including Toy Fair New York — and the opening of the new Toys “R” Us global flagship store at American Dream.
“The Playground Podcast” is presented by Global Toy Experts, The Toy Guy, and ChizComm Ltd. The show made its debut in 2019 in an effort to combine information about the toy industry with insights on play, products, and conversations with some of the most significant people in the toy business.
